Robert and Aimee’s elegant black pink engagement session is definitely a favorite of ours! Although they were both nervous once we got started, I assured them that it happens to everyone. There are so many things I love to watch when we are doing engagement sessions! However my favorite is how the groom looks at his future bride.
His eyes, and his words, hold every ounce of respect, and admiration. The moment I see that, I know they will be together forever. Through thick and thin. Their relationship, engagement, and soon to be marriage, isn’t just a next step in their relationship.
Aimee and Robert adore each other! Nothing in the world could ever hide that. It’s written all over their faces! After the session was over there was a bit of an “argument” over flowers. The way he handled it was fantastic, and it really wasn’t an argument. I’m not sure if I explained that right, but it was like watching a fire start, yet put out immediately by water. It was fascinating!
No doubt their wedding will be spectacular! In the meantime, while you wait to see their wedding on the blog soon, here is their story, and some of their elegant black pink engagement session!
I found Aimee story’s about how they met interesting! She explained that they didn’t know each other in high school or college. However Robert was the date of one of her good friends at her school, at their senior prom. They didn’t really speak, or particularly love each other at first site, but their relationship bloomed over time, and it all started with their handshake.
I’m in love with this elegant navy engagement session! It’s one of the most unique sessions I have had the privilege of being apart of! Are you wondering what makes it so unique? Well… Leah’s a ball room dancer, and I mean a professional ball room dancer! She has been in competitions and she even teaches at Fred Astaire! Tj is a golfer! What a unique couple, yet his silliness and her refinement work in harmony with each other!
Besides being able to meet and connect with my couples, I love the personal touches they bring into their sessions! Each couple brings their own grace and personality! Leah and TJ were no different! Such a wonderful, sweet couple, that care deeply for each other, along with their friends and family! Clear in the way they speak to each other, and to their family and friends.
Their parents came along too! I loved being able to meet them before the wedding! Although they walked around the property with, I noticed they were cold. Informing them they were more than welcome to head inside to get warm, at this point they retreated but peered through the windows when they could. Something I will always remember is how much Leah’s parents talk about her! Each word, along with their expressions should how proud they are to have her as their daughter. Cue heartwarming music now!
You would never know it from the pictures because Leah and TJ are complete troopers, but it was cold! However, it made it easy for them to snuggle up when they changed outfits later! With the evening sneaking upon us a slight breeze picked up, adding movement to Leah’s beautiful Navy ballroom dress! Of course I’m a little bias, but I love the images of them in blue! No doubt, the wedding will be just as elegant as their engagements, and I can hardly wait!
I can’t wait to share Meaghan and Brady’s beautiful country engagement session with you! The day couldn’t have been more beautiful! Meaghan and Brady arrived nervous, but completely excited! When my couples are nervous I assure them that the first 20 minutes are always weird. For everyone!
Meaghan and Brady came ready for their country session! She had two adorable outfits, and made sure that Brady complimented her. Watching Meaghan and Brady interact with each other, was heartwarming! The love they have for each other poured out to each other like waves. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful, sweet, caring, couple! They are beautiful inside and out!
As we moved effortlessly through their session I pointed out all the different areas we could use! One of my favorite parts about this place! I never force my couples to do anything they are uncomfortable with, but I try anything they are up for!
This site has several areas, one with a small barn style building. It has something different on each side. One side is the Texas Flag, one a classic barn front, and the last side is a small scene with frames and flowers. There is a hanging wood frame, a circular sparkle frame, hammock, swing, and a small pond with a bench. But my favorite… a large tree with beautiful handmade crosses. These are some of my favorite pictures from their session as well!
Meaghan and Brady tried nearly everything, but in the end stuck true to their country engagement style. I am so glad they did! If we would have ended up doing every little thing and keeping them, it would have thrown off their style! Honestly wouldn’t have fit their personality! I’m thankful for Meaghan’s honesty, and that she wasn’t afraid to tell me that wasn’t for them!
Their wedding is going to be amazing, and nothing short of beautiful, and magical!
We had a blast working with Chaz and Edgar during their engagement session! They were sweet, fun, a little goofy, and willing to hang to the evening to get some truly unique images. Chaz had a wonderful, sassy attitude, Edgar was a little shy and composed. I loved the classy outfits they picked for their session! They stayed completely in theme with their wedding, very upscale, and very elegant!
